Báder Mátyás, born 30 September, 1983 in the city of Veszprém, Veszprém County, Hungary. Graduated from the University of West Hungary (since 2017 – University of Sopron), Faculty of Wood Sciences, with MSc in Timber Industry Engineering (2008), and MSc in Energy Management Engineering (2009), in the city of Sopron, Hungary. Have a 6-years long practical experience in different fields of the wood processing industry. PhD studies in basic properties of wood and wood modifications, especially the longitudinal compression of wood within thermo-hydro-mechanical treatments (2014-present). Research Scientist for the University of Sopron, Faculty of Wood Sciences, in the city of Sopron, Hungary (2017-present). Author and co-author of more than 20 scientific publications.
