Barchenkov Alexey Pavlovich

Barchenkov Alexey Pavlovich, born 28 July 1981. Graduated from Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University Faculty of Ecology and Biotechnology (at the present time – Institute of Agrarian and Ecological Technology) (2003). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany (2007). PhD thesis: «Izmenchivost’ Vidov Roda Larix Mill. v Srednei Sibiri» (Species Variability of Larch Mill. Genus in Central Siberia), Krasnoyarsk, 2007 (in Russian). Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Forest Genetics and Breeding at V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch in the city of Krasnoyarsk. Specialist in larch selection and seed growing. Participant of national and international research projects related to the study of variability of different genus of conifers. Author and co-author of more than 30 papers and 1 book.
