Buryak Lyudmila Viktorovna, born July 26, 1966. Graduated from the Siberian Institute of Technology (at the present time – M. F. Reshetnev Siberian State Aerospace University), Faculty of Forestry (1988), completed PhD course at the Department of Silviculture in the Siberian State University of Technology (SSUT) (in 2016 SSUT is affiliated to M. F. Reshetnev Siberian State Aerospace University), and Doctoral Course at the Department of Silviculture in the Siberian State University of Technology. Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science, Forestry, Forest Fires and Fire Fighting (1999), Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in Forest Science, Silviculture, Forest Planning and Forest Inventory (2015). DSc. thesis: «Lesoobrazovatelnyi Process v Narushennykh Pozarami Svetlokhvoinykh Nasazdeniyakh Yuga Sibiri» (Forest Forming Process in the Disturbed by Fires Light Needle Coniferous Stands in the South of Siberia), Krasnoyarsk, 2015 (in Russian). Associate Professor for the Department of Silviculture, Faculty of Forestry at M. F. Reshetnev Siberian State Aerospace University. Expert in the field of forestry and forest fires. Author and coauthor of 95 publications including 2 books and 6 teaching books.
