Cherepanova Olga Evgenievna, born 26 June, 1985. Graduated from Kurgan State University, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Biology, with a specialty in Biology (2007). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science, Silviculture, Forest Planning and Forest Inventory (2014). PhD thesis: «Ekologo-Geograficheskaya Differencsiacsiya Geneticheskoi i Fenotipicheskoi Struktury Sukhodolnykh i Smeznykh Bolotnykh Populyacsii Pinus sylvestris L. v Zapadnoi Sibiri i Srednem Zauralie» (Ecological-Geographical Differentiation of Genetic and Phenotypic Structure of Upland and Adjacent Boggy Pinus sylvestris L. Populations in Western Siberia and Middle Trans-Urals), Yekaterinburg, 2013 (in Russian). Research Scientist for the Group of Geography, Ecology and Genetics of Coniferous Plants, Laboratory of Population Biology of Woody Plants and Forest Dynamics, Botanical Garden, Russian Academy of Sciences, Ural Branch, in the city of Yekaterinburg. Research interests in intraspecific variation of woody plants, forest factorial ecology and ecological genetics. Author and co-author of more than 25 scientific publications.
