Dagurov Pavel Nikolaevich, born 24 April, 1949 in the city of Ulan-Ude, Republic of Buryatia. Graduated from Irkutsk State University, Faculty of Physics, Department of Radiophysics & Radioelectronics, with a specialty in Radiophysics & Radioelectronics (1972). Candidate (PhD, 1983) and Doctor (2010) of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in Radiophysics. PhD thesis: «Issledovanie Rasprostraneniya Radiovoln na Prizemnykh Trassakh s Passivnoi Retranslyatsiei» (The Study of Radiowave Propagation on Near Ground Lanes with Passive Retranslation), Ulan-Ude, 1983 (in Russian). DSc thesis: «Modelirovanie Difrakcionnogo Rasprostranenija Voln i Struktura Polja Radiovoln UVCH i SVCH na Neregulyarnykh Trassakh» (Modelling of Difraction Vawe Propagation and the Structure of UHF and SHF Radiowaves’ Field at Irregular Lanes), Irkutsk, Irkutsk State Univ., 2010 (in Russian). Leading Research Scientist for the Sector of Optical and Microwave Diagnostics and Processing of Space Information at Institute of Physical Material Science, Buryat Scientific Center, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in the city of Ulan-Ude, Republic of Buryatia.
