Danilin Igor Mikhailovich, born 27 May, 1957 in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (former USSR). Graduated (Diploma with Honors) from the Siberian Institute of Technology (SibIT) (in 1997 SibIT renaimed to Siberian State University of Technology (SibSUT), in 2016 SibSUT affiliated to Academician M. F. Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology), Faculty of Forestry (in 2017 Faculty of Forestry included to the Institute of Forest Technologies), Department of Forest Inventory (at the present time – Department of Forest Inventory, Forest Planning and Geodesy), with a specialty in Forestry and qualification Engineer of Forestry (1980). Candidate (PhD, 1985) and Doctor (2004) of Agricultural Sciences in Forest Planning and Forest Inventory. Member of the Editorial Council of an international peer-reviewed theoretical and applied research journal «Lesnaya Taksaciya i Lesoustroistvo» (Forest Inventory and Forest Planning) (since 2001 to present time). Member of the Editorial Advisory Board of an international research journal «Current World Environment» (since 2017 to present time). Associate Editor-in-Chief for peer-reviewed scientific journal «Sibirskij Lesnoj Zurnal» (Sib. J. For. Sci.). Author and co-author of more than 150 papers, including chapters in 17 monographs, more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and 5 teaching books.
