Ekimov Eugene Vladimirovich, born 2 November, 1970. Graduated from Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical Institute (at the present time – V. P. Astafiev Krasnoyasrsk State Pedagogical University), Faculty of Biology and Geography (at the present time – Faculty of Biology, Geography, and Chemistry), with a specialty Teacher of Biology and Chemistry, in the city of Krasnoyarsk (1993). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Ecology (2003). PhD thesis: «Troficheskie Svyazi i Prostranstvennoe Razmeshchenie Sovoobraznykh v Srednei Sibiri» (Trophic Relations and Space Distribution of Owls in Central Siberia), Krasnoyarsk, V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., 2003 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Technogenic Forest Ecosystems at V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch in the city of Krasnoyarsk (since 2010). Specialist in zoology of vertebrates and forest ecology.
