Eritsov Andrey Markelovich

Eritsov Andrey Markelovich, born 2 April, 1966. Graduated from the Mari Institute of Politechnics (at the present time – Volga State University of Technology), Faculty of Forestry and Environment (at the present time – Institute of Forestry and Nature Management), with a specialty in Forestry, and qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic, Russia (1990). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Fires and Fire Fighting (2017). PhD thesis: «Sovershenstvovanie Technologiy Sozdaniya Zagraditel'nykh i Opornykh Polos pri Tushenii Lesnykh Pozharov v Zonakh Lesoaviatsionnykh Rabot» (Perfection of Technologies Creating Defensive and Supporting Barriers under Extinguishing Forest Fires in the Zones of Forest Aviation Works), YekaterinburgUral St. For. Eng. Univ., 2017 (in Russian). Deputy Director for the Aerial Forest Fire Protection Center «Avialesookhrana», in the city of Pushkino, Pushkinsky District, Moscow Oblast, Russia (since 2006 to the present time). Specialist in aerial forest protection and forest pyrology. Professional experience: smokejumper, pilot-observer, chief of sub-division of West Ural Aerial Forest Protection Center (1991-1999); consultant for the pilot project on sustainable forestry development that realized under the World Bank loan (2005); team member of the International Fire Aviation Working Group (IFAWG) (2009); Deputy team leader of the group of experts on fire management of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) (2009-2015); lecturer for the Department of Protection Forests from Fires at All-Russian Institute on Advanced Training Executives and Specialists of Forestry in the city of Pushkino, Pushkinsky District, Moscow Oblast, Russia (since 2012 to present time). Representative of the Federal Forestry Agency in an international projects and programs on fire management. Awarded by the departmental medal of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (Emercom of Russia) «Concord for the Sake of Salvation». Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications.
