Graduated (Diploma with Honors) from Muromtsevsky Forest Engineering College in Vladimir Oblast (1985), Bashkir State Agricultural Institute (at the present time – Bashkir State Agrarian University), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Faculty of Agrarian Technologies and Forestry), with a specialty Engineer of Forestry (Diploma with Honors, 1990). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Forest Crops, Selection and Seed Farming. PhD thesis: «Morfologicheskaya i Kariotipicheskaya Izmenchivost Listvennitsy Sukacheva i Eli Sibirskoy na Urale» (Morphological and Caryotypic Variability of Sukachev Larch and Siberian Spruce in the Urals), Krasnoyarsk, V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, 1998 (in Russian). Scientific Secretary (since 2001) for the Botanical Garden-Institute, Ufa Scientific Center, Russian Academy of Sciences in the city of Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan. Specialist in population biology, cytogenetics, kariology, forest tree breeding, dendrology and forest gene pool preservation. Scientific activity in study population structure and biodiversity of dendroflora, development of methods of plant reproduction. Author and co-author of more than 90 papers, 1 book and 2 monographs.
