Furyaev Igor Valentinovich, born 14 April, 1964 in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Graduated from Krasnoyarsk State Medical Institute (at the present time – Krasnoyarsk State Medical University named after Professor V. F. Voino-Yasenetski), Faculty of Pediatrics, with a specialty in pediatry, and qualification – pediatrician, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (1987). Candidate of Biological Science (PhD) in Forest Science, Silviculture, Forest Planning and Forest Inventory (2013). PhD thesis: «Formirovanie Napochvennyh Goryuchih Materialov v Lesnyh Ekosistemah Verhne-Obskogo Massiva (Yugo-Vostok Zapadnoy Sibiri)» (Formation of Ground Combustible Materials in Forest Ecosystems of Upper-Ob’ Massive (South-East of Western Siberia)), Yekaterinburg, Ural St. For. Eng. Univ., 2013 (in Russian). Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Forest Pyrology, V. N. Sukachev Inst. For., Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., Fed. Res. Center Krasnoyarsk Sci. Center, Rus. Acad.
