Graduated from Tomsk State University (at the present time – National Research Tomsk State University), Faculty of Biology and Soils (at the present time – Institute of Biology, Ecology, Soil Science, Agriculture and Forestry (Institute of Biology)), Department of Botany, with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist, in the city of Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast, Russia (1995), PhD studies in Botany and Ecology at Novosibirsk State University, Faculty of Biology (at the present time – Biological Program Department of Natural Sciences), in the city of Novosibirsk, Russia (1996-1999). Candidate of Biological Sciences in Botany and Ecology (2003). PhD thesis: «Strukturno-Dinamicheskaya Organizatsiya Estestvennykh Regeneratsionnykh Fitotsenozov na Splanirovannykh Otvalak Lesostepi Kuznetskoy Kotloviny (na Primere Listvyanskogo Ugol’nogo Razreza)» (Structural and Dynamic Organization of Natural Regenerative Phytocenoses on the Planned Dumps of the Forest-Steppe of the Kuznetsk Depression (on the Example of Listvyanskiy Coal Mine), Novosibirsk, Central Sib.
