Kochubei Alena Anatol’evna, born 12 February, 1988, in the settlement of Odino, Semiskul’sky Village Council, Mokrousovsky District, Kurgan Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Kurgan State University, Faculty of Natural Sciences (at the present time – Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics), Department of Biology, with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist, in the city of Kurgan, Kurgan Oblast, Russia (2011). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science, Silviculture, Forest Planning and Forest Inventory (2018). PhD thesis: «Ekologicheskie Osobennosti Vliyaniya Pozharov na Vozobnovlenie Sosny (Pinus sylvestris L.) na Verkhovykh Bolotakh i Sukhodolakh Zapadnoy Sibiri» (Ecological Features of Forest Fires’ Influence on Pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) Regeneration at High Bogs and Uplands of Western Siberia), Yekaterinburg, Ural St. For. Engineer. Univ., 2017 (in Russian). Research Scientist for the Group of Geography, Ecology and Genetics of Coniferous Plants, Laboratory of Population Biology of Woody Plants and Forest Dynamics, Botanical Garden, Rus. Acad. Sci., Ural Br., in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia. Research interests in forest ecology, biogeocenology, natural reforestation and pyroecology. Author and co-author of more than 30 scientific publications.
