Kosov Ivan Vladimirovich

Kosov Ivan Vladimirovich, born 8 January, 1979 in the town of Divnogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from the Siberian State University of Technology (SibSUT) (in 2016 SibSUT affiliated to Academician M. F. Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology (SibSUST), Faculty of Mechanics, Department of Motor Vehicles, Tractors, and Forest Machines, with a specialty in Machines and Equipment of Forest Complex, qualification Mechanical Engineer, in the city of Krasnoyarsk (2001). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science & Silviculture; Forest Fires & Fire Fighting (2006). PhD thesis: «Ustoichivost’ Khvoinykh Porod k Vozdeistviyu Lesnykh Pozharov» (Resistance of Coniferous Species to the Impact of Forest Fires), Krasnoyarsk, SibSUT, 2006 (in Russian). Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Forest Pyrology at Federal Research Center Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, in the city of Krasnoyarsk (since 2005 to present time). Specialist in fire influence on of forest ecosystems. Research interests in study postfire dynamics of vegetation communities, development of methods and technics using fire in forests and logging areas, assistance to forest restoration and forest protection from agricultural burnings. Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publication, patent of the invention.
