Kovalevich Olga Alexandrovna, born 26 June 1985 in Chenki village, Gomel District, Gomel region, Republic of Belarus. Graduated from I. P. Shamiakin Mozyr State Pedagogical University Faculty of Biology with a specialty in «Biology and Nature Protection» (2007), PhD studies at the Institute of Forest the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2011). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in «Forest Crops, Selection and Seed Growing» (2013). PhD thesis: «Gene geography of the oak pedunculate on the territory of Belarus according to the data of chloroplast DNA analysis». Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Genetics and Biotechnology at the Institute of Forest the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The main research interests: population and ecological genetics of woody plants, molecular genetics. Author and co-author of more than 35 scientific publications.
