Mandal Ram Asheshwar, born 12 April, 1964 in the town of Govindapur, Dhanusa District, Province No. 2, Nepal. Graduated from Kathmandu Forestry College, with BSc in Forestry, in the city of Kathmandu, Nepal (…), the University of Twente, Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation, with MSc in Sustainable Forest Management, in the city of Enschede, the province of Overijssel, Netherlands (2004), PhD in Carbon Sequestration from the Institute of Forestry, Tribhuvan University, in the city of Kathmandu, Nepal (2014). Associate Professor for the School of Environmental Science and Management, affiliated to Pokhara University, in the city of Kathmandu, Nepal (2015-present). Scientific expertise in forest biometrics, climate change, ecology, research methodology, GIS and remote sensing. Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications.
