Milyutina Inna Leonidovna, born 8 August 1958, deceased 4 March 2013. Graduated from Novosibirsk State University, Faculty of Biology (at the present time – Faculty of Natural Sciences), with a degree in Biology (1980). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Ecology and Physiology of Plants (1994). PhD thesis: «Biokhimicheskaya Adaptasciya Sosny Obyknovennoi k Nizkim Temperaturam» (Biochemical Adaptation of Common Pine to Low Temperatures), Krasnoyarsk, V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, 1994 (in Russian). Scientific activity connected with the Laboratory of Biochemistry at V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch in the city of Krasnoyarsk, where she worked since 1987, first as an intern researcher, than as a senior laboratory assistant, junior research scientist, and senior research scientist, after finishing PhD course and defended PhD dissertation in 1994. Scientific achievements related to study of the effect of low temperature stress on the growth and metabolism of conifers. The mechanisms of conifers resistance to low temperatures has been studied and discovered. Widely known research on oxidative stress. The results of research were presented at several international and national scientific conferences and published in more than 70 papers, including three monographs.
