Graduated from Novosibirsk State University, Department of Natural Science, with a specialty in Biology, specialization in Biochemistry, qualification Biologist (Biochemist), in the city of Novosibirsk, Soviet Union (1984). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Soil Science (1990). PhD thesis: «Biomassa Mikroorganizmov v Pochvakh Estestvennykh, Sel’skokhozyaystvennykh i Tekhnogennykh Ekosystem Sibiri» (Biomass of Microorganisms in Soils of Natural, Agricultural, and Technogenic Ecosystems of Siberia), Novosibirsk, Inst. Soil Sci. Agrochem., USSR Acad. Sci., Sib. Br. (at the present time – Inst. Soil Sci. Agrochem., Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br.), 1990 (in Russian). Leading Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Agrochemistry, Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., in the city of Novosibirsk, Russia (1985-present).
