Nazimova Dina Ivanovna

Nazimova Dina Ivanovna, born 24 August 1937 in the city of MoscowSoviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Geography, Department of Biogeography, with a specialty in Biogeography, in the city of Moscow, Soviet Union (1959), and was appointed for the work to the Institute of Forest and Timber, USSR Acad. Sci., Siberian Branch (at the present time – V. N. Sukachev Inst. For., Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br.), in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Candidate of Biol Sci. (PhD) in Botany (1975), Doctor of Biol. Sci. (1998), Professor (2007) in Ecology. PhD thesis: «Ekologo-Geograficheskie Zakonomernosti Formirovaniya Tipologicheskogo Sostava Gornykh Temnokhvoynykh Lesov Zapadnogo Sayana» (Ecological-Geographical Regularities of Forming Typological Composition of Moutain Dark Needle Coniferous Forests of Western Sayan), Krasnoyarsk, Inst. of Forest and Timber, USSR Acad. PI and Co-PI for a numerous international and national research projects on problems of forest ecosystems’ biological diversity in Southern Siberia and biosphere functions of boreal forests, supported by RFBR, KTSF grants, and program of basic research of V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch (1998–2015). Аssociate editor for peer-reviewed scientific journal «Geography and Natural Resources» (since 2013 to present time). Author and co-author of more than 190 scientific publications, including 8 books and over 120 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
