Nikitenko Elena Alekseevna

Nikitenko Elena Alekseevna, born 18 August 1966. Graduated from Bryansk Technological Institute (at the present time – Bryansk State Academy of Engineering and Technology), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Institute of Forest Complex, Transport and Ecology), with a specialty «Forestry Engineer» (1988). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science, Silviculture, Forest Planning and Forest Inventory (2010). PhD thesis: «Lesovodstvennye Aspekty Intensifikascii Vosproizvodstva Kedra Koreiskogo (Pinus koraiensis Siebold et Zucc.) na Dal'nem Vostoke» (Silvicultural Features of Intensification of Reproduction of Korean Pine (Pinus koraiensis Siebold et Zucc.) at Far East), Ussuriysk, 2010 (in Russian). Leading Research Scientist for the Department of Economics, Inventory and Reproduction of Forest, Head for the scientific studies on Forest Reproduction at Far East Forestry Research Institute in the city of Khabarovsk. Associate Professor (2008–2014) for the Department of Forestry and Forest Park Management (at the present time – Department of Forest Use and Landscape Construction), School of Ecology and Nature Management, Pacific National University in the city of Khabarovsk. The main research interests in forest selection and seed farming, conservation of genetic fund of forest tree species, forest plantation, greening of settlements. Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications, including book chapters.
