Pismarkina Elena Vasil’evna, born 15 August 1979, in the city of Zheleznogorsk-Ilimsky, Nizhneilimsky District, Irkutsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Mordovia St. Ped. Univ. named after M. E. Evsev’ev, Faculty of Biology and Chemistry (at the present time – Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology), with a specialty in Biology, and with an additional specialty in Chemistry, qualification Teacher of Biology and Chemistry, in the city of Saransk, Republic of Mordovia, Russia (2001). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany (2006). PhD thesis: «Flora Gorodov Respubliki Mordoviya» (Flora of the Cities of the Republic of Mordovia), Saransk, Mordovia St. Univ., 2006 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Experimental Ecology and Acclimatization of Plants, Botanical Garden, Ural Br., Rus. Acad. Sci., in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia (2015-present). Scientific interests in phytodiversity studies of vascular plants of the Middle Volga region, the Southern Urals and the North of Western Siberia. Author and co-author of more than 150 scientific publication.
