Polyakova Galina Gennadievna, born 17 February, 1951 in the village of Voznesenka, Khorolsky District, Primorsky Krai, Russia (former Soviet Union). Graduated from Tomsk State University (at the present time – National Research Tomsk State University) Faculty of Biology and Soil Science (at the present time – Institute of Biology, Ecology, Soil Science, Agriculture and Forestry (Institute of Biology) (1980). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Microbiology and Ecological Biotechnology at V.N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch (2007), Doctor of Biological Sciences in Physiology and Biochemistry of Plants (2012), Expert in ecological phytoimmunology. Author and co-author of 70 papers and the book “Immunity response of Siberian conifer species”, 2008.
