Puryaev Aynur Sultangalievich, born 29 January, 1975 in the village of Bazarnye Mataki, Alkeyevsky District, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. Graduated from Lubyanskiy Forestry Technical School (at the present time – Lubyanskiy College of Forest Technology), with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Forestry Technician, in the village of Lubyany, Kukmorsky District, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia (1993), Mari State University of Engineering (MSUE) (in 2012 MSUE has been renaimed to Volga State University of Technology), Faculty of Forestry and Ecology (at the present time – Institute of Forestry and Nature Management), with a specialty in Forestry and Forest Park Management, qualification Engineer of Forestry and Forest Park Management, in the city of Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic, Russia (1998). PhD studies in Soil Science and Ecology at Kazan State Agricultural Academy (at the present time – Kazan State Agricultural University), Forestry and Ecology Faculty, Department of Silviculture and Forest Crops, in the city of Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia (2002-2006). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Ecology and Soil Science (2005). PhD thesis: «Pochvenno-Ekologicheskie Funktsii Zashchitnykh Lesnykh Nasazhdeniy Predvolzh’ya Respubliki Tatarstan» (Soil-Ecological Functions of Protective Forest Stands of the Cis-Volga Region, Republic of Tatarstan), Kazan, V. I. Ul’yanov-Lenin Kazan State Univ. (at the present time – Kazan Federal University), 2005 (in Russian). Director for the East-European Forest Experimental Station, Branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Silviculture and Mechanization of Forestry (since 2011 to present time), Associate Professor for the Department of Silviculture and Forest Crops, Forestry and Ecology Faculty, Kazan State Agricultural University, in the city of Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. Research interests in study interrelations of forest soils with productivity of stands in Central Povolzhie, forest melioration, structure and developing measures on increasing ecological and resource potential of forests of the Republic of Tatarstan, plantation forest growing. Author and co-author of more than 60 scientific publications, methodical and textbooks.
