Sazonova Tatiana Arkad'evna, born 22 February, 1946. Graduated from Petrozavodsk State University, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics (at the present time – Institute of Physics and Technology) with a specialty in Physics (1969). Doctor of Biological Sciences in Ecology and Plant Physiology and Biochemistry (2006). DSc. thesis: «Ekologo-Fiziologicheskoe Issledovanie Reaktsii Khvoinykh Rastenii Severo-Zapada Rossii na Deistvie Prirodnykh i Antropogennykh Faktorov» (Ecological and Physiological Study of the Response of Conifer Plants at North-Western Russia to the Influence of Natural and Anthropogenic Factors), Petrozavodsk, 2006 (in Russian). Leading Research Scientist for the Laboratory for Physiology and Cytology of Woody Plants at Forest Research Institute, Karelian Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the city of Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia. Expert in ecological physiology of woody plants. PI for research projects related to the study of morpho-physiological reactions of woody plants under environmental and climate changes. Author and co-author of more than 100 papers and 3 books.
