Sidorenkov Viktor Mikhailovich, born 21 February 1976. Graduated from Bryansk State Academy of Engineering and Technology (at the present time – Bryansk State University of Engineering and Technology), Faculty of Forestry, with a specialty Engineer of Forestry and Forest Park Management (1998). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science and Silviculture, Forest Fires and Fire Fighting. PhD Thesis: «Rubki Pereformirovaniya Berezovyh Nasazhdeniy s Kulturami Eli pod Pologom v Podzone Khvoyno-Shirokolistvennyh Lesov» (Conversion Felling of Birch Stands with Spruce Plantation Undergrowth in Coniferous Broadleaved Forest Subzone), Bryansk, 2004 (in Russian). Gained qualification of software specialist in C#.Net language (2005). Head for the Department of Silviculture and Forest Treatment at All-Russian Research Institute of Silviculture and Mechanization of Forestry (VNIILM) in the city of Pushkino, Moscow Oblast (2014). Research interests in silviculture, forest planning, forest inventory, forest design, development of forest GIS and information processing programs. PI and Co-PI for over 34 research projects in forestry and forest use. Author and co-author of more than 26 scientific publications, including 4 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
