Terebova Elena Nikolaevna, born 10 August, 1976. Graduated from Petrozavodsk State University, Faculty of Biology (at the present time – Faculty of Ecology and Biology), with a specialty in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry (1998), PhD study in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry at Forest Research Institute, Karelian Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the city of Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia (2003). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry. PhD Thesis: «Azotnye i Fosfornye Soedineniya Khvoinykh Rastenii pri Aerotekhnogennom Zagryaznenii v Usloviyakh Severo-Zapada Rossii» (Nitrogenous and Phosphorus Compaunds of Conifer Plants under Aerial Technogenic Pollution in the Conditions of North-West of Russia), Petrozavodsk, 2002 (in Russian). Associate Professor for the Department of Botany and Physiology of Plants, Faculty of Ecology and Biology, Petrozavodsk State University. Research interests in adaptation of plants to pollution in northern conditions, phytoremediation of industrial territories with using of willows species. Author and co-author of more than 60 research papers.
