Vais Andrey Andreevich, born 6 March, 1965 in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from the Order of the Red Banner of Labour Sib. Inst. Technol. (SibIT) (in 1997 SibIT renaimed to Sib. St. Univ. Technol. (SibSUT), in 2016 SibSUT affiliated to Reshetnev Sib. St. Univ. Sci. Technol.)Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Institute of Forestry Engineering), Dep. For. Invent. (at the present time – Dep. For. Invent., For. Plann. Geodesy), with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Soviet Union (1987). Candidate (PhD, 1995) and Doctor (2014) of Agricultural Sciences in Forest Planning and Forest Inventory / Forest Science, Silviculture, Forest Planning and Forest Inventory. PhD thesis: «Vliyanie Ploshchadi Rosta Derev'ev na ikh Morfologo-Taksatsionnye Pokazateli» (Influence of a Tree Growth Area on Their Morphological and Forest Inventory Parameters), Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk State Acad. Technol. (since 1997 Sib. St. Univ. Technol.), 1995 (in Russian).
