Velisevich Svetlana Nikolaevna, born 19 July, 1963 in the city of Zdolbuniv, Zdolbuniv Raion, Rivne Oblast, Ukraine (Soviet Union). Graduated from Tomsk State University (at the present time – National Research Tomsk State University), Faculty of Biology and Soils (at the present time – Institute of Biology, Ecology, Soil Science, Agriculture and Forestry (Institute of Biology)), with a specialty in Biology and Chemistry, qualification Teacher of Biology and Chemistry, in the city of Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia) (1989). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Forest Crops, Selection and Seed Growing (1998). PhD thesis: «Vozrastnaya Dinamika Generativnoy Struktury Krony Kedra Sibirskogo (Pinus sibirica Du Tour)» (Age Dynamics of the Generative Structure of the Siberian Stone Pine Pinus sibirica Du Tour), Krasnoyarsk, V. N. Sukachev Inst. For., Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., 1998 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Dendroecology, Institute of Monitoring of Climatic and Ecological Systems, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., in the city of Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast, Russia (since 2003 to present time). Scientific interests in study spatial and temporal organization of coniferous species at the area limits in connection with the genotypic and ecological factors of diversity, ecological and genetic regulation of ontogeny. Author and co-author of more than 100 scientific publications, including 42 articles in peer review journals.
