Veras Svetlana Nikolaevna

Veras Svetlana Nikolaevna, born 31 October 1985 in the city of Novgorod (at the present time – the city of Veliky Novgorod), Russia. Graduated from Francis Skorina Gomel State University, Faculty of Biology, Forestry Department, with a specialty in «Forestry» (2008), PhD studies at the Institute of Forest the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2011-2014). PhD thesis: «Variability of geographical Norway spruce plantations in the natural-climatic conditions of Belarus». Junior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Forest Selection and Seed Farming, Institute of Forest the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The main research interests in forest selection and seed farming. Author and co-author of more than 20 scientific publications. Some of them: «Features of growth and development of the Norway spruce provenances in geographical plantations» In «Trudy BGTU. Lesnoe Khozyaistvo» (Proc. BSTU.
