Yakimov Nikita Dmitrievich

Yakimov Nikita Dmitrievich, born 12 April, 1996 in the city of Zheleznogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Undergraduate studies in Ecology at the Department of Ecology and Nature Management, School of Ecology and Geography, Siberian Federal University, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (since 2014 to present time). Did practical work at the Department of Forest Ecology and Monitoring, V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, Federal Research Center Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, where participated in studies of dynamics of forest fire areas in Siberia according to remote sensing monitoring data (since 2016 to present time). Scientific interests in study dynamics of forest fire areas of extreme type in Siberia, identification of characteristic stages of fire development, and construction of mathematical models of fire development dynamics, remote sensing monitoring of wildfires, GIS and geoinformation analysis.
