Yakshina Irina Alexandrovna, born 6 November, 1961 in the town of Aleysk, Aleysky District, Altai Krai, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Leningrad State University (at the present time – Saint-Petersburg University), Faculty of Geography (at the present time – Institute of Earth Sciences), Department of Physical Geography (at the present time – Department of Physical Geography & Landscape Design), with a specialty in Soil Science, qualification Geographer, in the city of Leningrad (06 Sept., 1991 Leningrad renaimed to Saint Petersburg), Soviet Union (1983). Deputy Director for Scientific Research of the Lena Delta Wildlife Reserve, in the urban-type settlement of Tiksi, Sakha Republic, Russia. Research interests in study soil and plant resources of the Ust’-Lena State Nature Reserve and other territories of Northern Yakutia. Author and co-author of more than 10 scientific publications, including book: Nikolin E. G., Yakshina I. A., Petrovskiy V. V. Illyustrirovannaya Flora Okrestnostey Mezhdunarodnoy Biologicheskoy Stantsii «Lena-Nordenshel’d» (Kordon Tyylakh) (Illustrated Flora of the Surroundings of the International Biological Station «Lena-Nordenskjöld» (Cordon Tyylaakh)).
