Yer Esra Nurten

Yer Esra Nurten, born 11 July, 1986. Graduated from Gazi University, Forestry Faculty, with a specialty in Forestry, in the city of Ankara, Turkey (2008). MSc. in Silviculture and Afforestation (2011). Currently continue PhD studies in tree breeding and genome-wide identifications. Research Assistant in Silviculture for the Forest Engineering Department, Faculty of Forestry, Kastamonu University, in the city of Kastamonu, Turkey (since 2011 to present). Participated in organization of several international and national scientific meetings such as: IUFRO 14^th International Fir Symposium, Kastamonu, Turkey, 2012; International Caucasian Forestry Symposium, Artvin Coruh University, Artvin, Turkey, 2013; Forest as an Ecosystem, IUFRO Forest Tree Breeding Conference, Prague, Czech Republic, 2014; IUFRO 10th International Beech Symposium: Ecology and Silviculture of Beech - Climate change and its impacts upon the Beech forests, Kastamonu & Safranbolu, Turkey, 2015; Society for Experimental Biology's 2015 Annual Meeting, Prague, Czech Republic, 2015. Author and co-author of more than 40 scientific publications.
