Yusupov Irek Azatovich, born 19 March, 1964 in the village of Sarashi, Bardymsky District, Perm Oblast (in 2005 Perm Oblast was merged with Komi-Permyak Autonomous Okrug to form Perm Krai), Russia (former Soviet Union). Graduated from the Ural Forest Engineering Institute (at the present time – Ural State Forest Engineering University), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Institute of Forest and Nature Management), with a specialty in Forestry and Garden-Park Management, qualification Engineer of Forestry and Garden-Park Management, in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia (1991). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science and Silviculture; Forest Fires and Fire Fighting (1996). PhD thesis: «Sostoyanie i Ustoychivost’ Sosnovykh Molodnyakov v Usloviyakh Aeropromvybrosov na Srednem Urale» (Condition and Sustainability of Pine Young Stands Under Aerial Industrial Pollution in the Middle Urals), Yekaterinburg, Ural State Forest Engineering Academy (at the present time – Ural State Forest Engineering University), 1996 (in Russian). Research Scientist for the for the Laboratory of Experimental Ecology and Acclimatization of Plants at Botanical Garden, Russian Academy of Sciences, Ural Branch, in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia. Research interests in study forest condition under technogenic impact. Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications.
