Kulik Konstantin Nikolaevich, born 22 July 1952, in the village of Rovnoe, Rovnyansky Raion (30 December 1962 Rovnianskyi Raion was abolished and became a part of Novoukrains'kyi Raion) Kirovohrad Oblast, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (since 1991 – Ukraine) (former Soviet Union). Graduated from Volgograd Pedagogical Institute (at the present time – Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University), with a specialty in Geography and Biology, qualification Teacher of Geography and Biology, in the city of Volgograd, Volgograd Oblast, Russia (1974). Candidate (PhD, 1988), and Doctor (1997) of Agricultural Sciences in Agroforestry Reclamation and Protective Afforestation, Greening of Settlements. PhD thesis: «Fitoekologicheskaya Otsenka i Agrolesomeliorativnaya Klassifikatsiya Peskov Yugo-Vostoka Evropeyskoy Chasti RSFSR s Ispol'zovaniem Aerokosmicheskikh Fotosnimkov» (Phytoecological Assessment and Agroforestreclamation Classification of Sands of the South-East of the european Part of the RSFSR with the Use of Aerospace Photographs), Volgograd, All-Rus. Director (since 1996 to present time ) for the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Agroforestreclamation - VNIALMI (in 2016 VNIALMI reorganized to the Federal Scientific Center of Agroecology, Complex Reclamations and Protective Afforestation of the Russian Academy of Sciences), in the city of Volgograd, Volgograd Oblast, Russia. Expert in agroforestry reclamation, protective afforestation, remote sensing methods of research. Advised 2 DSc and 6 PhD students. The Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kalmykia (2002), the Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation (2007).
