Kuznetsov Boris Nikolaevich, born 8 December, 1945. Graduated from Novosibirsk State University Department of Natural Science with a speciality in "Chemistry" (1969). Vice-Director for the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch (1998), Heard of Analytical and Organic Chemistry Department at the Siberian Federal University (2006), Doctor of Chemical Sciences (1981), Professor (1984), Honored Worker of Science (2008). Awarded by the USSR state order the "Bage of Honour". (1986). Executive editor for the peer-reviewed "Journal of Siberian Federal University", Series "Chemistry", Associate Editor for the peer-reviewed journals: "Chemistry of Solid Fuels", "Khimiya Rastitel'nogo Syr'ya (Chemistry of Vegetable Raw Materials)", "Khvoinye Borealnoi Zony" (Coniferous of the Boreal Zone), "Catalysis in Industry", "Sibirski Lesnoi Zurnal" ("Siberian Journal of Forest Science"). Author (and co-author) of more than 1000 papers, including 10 monographs.
