Scheuber Matthias, born 27 August 1966 in Germany. Graduated from the University of Freiburg, Faculty of Forest Sciences (at the present time – Institute of Forest Sciences, Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources), with MSc in Forest Science, in the city of Freiburg im Breisgau, state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany (1998). PhD in Forest Science (2002). Professor and Chair for Applied Data Analysis in Forestry (since 2002 to present time), Vice-Rector for the University of Applied Forest Sciences (since 2007 to present time), in the town of Rottenburg am Neckar, administrative district (Landkreis) of Tübingen, state Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Expert in forest inventory methods, data management and statistical analysis. PI and Co-PI for a numerous international research projects in forest inventory and monitoring. Associate Editor for peer-review scientific journal «Sibirskij Lesnoj Zurnal» (Sib. J. For. Sci.). Reviewer for various scientific journals. Author and co-author of more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters.
