Linder Sune
Linder Sune, born 3 May, 1943. PhD in Plant Physiology from Umeå University, in the town of Umeå, Västerbotten County, Sweden (1972). Professor in Forest Ecology (1986-2010), Professor Emeritus, Senior Adviser at the Unit for Field-based joint staff (since 2011 to present), for the Faculty of Forest Sciences, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, in the locality of Vindeln, Västerbotten County, Västerbotten province, Sweden. The Honorary Doctor (1999) for the Faculty of Forestry (at the present time Faculty of Science and Forestry, School of Forest Sciences), the University of Joensuu (at the present time University of Eastern Finland). Academician of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry, member of the Royal Society of Sciences in Uppsala, in the city of Uppsala, Uppsala County, Uppland province, Svealand region, Sweden. Main research interests in forest ecophysiology with special emphasis on carbon and nutrient dynamics and the likely impacts of climate change on structure and function of forest ecosystems. Author and co-author of more than 100 papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
