Tchesnokov Nikolai Vasilievich, born 14 October, 1960. Graduated from Krasnoyarsk State University (KSU)  Faculty of Biology and Chemistry, with a specialty in "Chemistry" (1983). (In 2006 KSU being included to Siberian Federal University). Caretaker for the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch (2013), Associate Professor (2005), Professor for Analytical and Organic Chemistry Department at Siberian Federal University (2006), Doctor of Chemical Sciences in Physical Chemistry (2006). Associate editor for a peer-reviewed scientific "Journal of Siberian Federal University", "Series Chemistry", "Siberian Journal of Forest Science". Research interests: study of the regularities of formation of porous structure of carbon materials obtained by chemical modification and subsequent heat treatment of natural plant polymers, coals and graphite, catalytic processing of plant biomass. Author (and co-author) of more than 250 papers, including 1 monograph, 8 patents. Some of them: "Deep Processing of Brown Coals to Obtain Liquid Fuels and Carbon Materials", Novosibirsk, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Publ.
