Vedrova Estella Fedorovna, born 2 January, 1939. Graduated from Krasnoyarsk Agricultural Institute (at the present time – Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University), Faculty of Agronomy (at the present time – Institute of Agrarian and Ecological Technology), in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (1963). Candidate (PhD, 1983) and Doctor (DSc, 2005) of Biological Sciences in Ecology. PhD thesis: «Vliyanie Sosnovykh Nasazhdeniy na Svoystva Pochv» (Influence of Pine Stands on Soil Properties), Krasnoyarsk, V. N. Sukachev Inst. Forest & Wood, Sib. Br., USSR Acad. Sci. (since 1992 – V. N. Sukachev Inst. For., Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br.), 1983 (in Russian). Geography of research is the central part of Siberia: from forest-steppe zone to forest-tundra forests. Author and co-author of more than 150 scientific publications.
