Vtyurina Olga Petrovna, born 12 July 1956 in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Graduated from the Siberian Institute of Technology (SibIT) (in 1997 SibIT renaimed to Siberian State University of Technology (SibSUT), in 2016 SibSUT affiliated to Academician M. F. Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology), Faculty of Forestry, Department of Forest Inventory (at the present time – Department of Forest Inventory, Forest Planning and Geodesy), with a specialty in Forestry and qualification Engineer of Forestry (1978). Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Forest Inventory and Forest Use at at Federal Research Center, Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (1977). Specialist in forest inventory, forest planning and forest science. Associate editor for peer-reviewed scientific journal «Sibirskij Lesnoj Zurnal» (Sib. J. For. Sci.). Author and co-author of more than 100 scientific publications, including chapters in 7 books.
