Baranov Alexander Nikolaevich, born 13 February 1955, in a rural settlement of Mochalishche Semenovskiy District (at the present time – Zvenigovsky District), Mari El Republic, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from the Order of Lenin S. M. Kirov Leningrad For. Engineer. Acad. (at the present time – S. M. Kirov St. Petersburg St. For. Engineer. Univ.), Faculty of Forest Engineering (at the present time – Inst. Тechnol. Machines & For. Transport), with a specialty in Forest Engineering (Mechanization of Logging and Timber Yards), qualification Engineer-Technologist, PhD studies in Forest Engineering at the same Academy (1982), in the city of Leningrad (06 Sept., 1991 Leningrad renaimed to St. Petersburg), Soviet Union (1978). Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD) in Technology and Machinery for Logging and Forestry (1986).
