Bazhenova Olga Prokop’evna, born 17 July 1951, in the village of Kazatkul’, Tatarsky District, Novosibirsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Tomsk State University named after V. V. Kuybyshev (at the present time – National Research Tomsk State University), Faculty of Biology and Soils (at the present time – Institute of Biology, Ecology, Soil Science, Agriculture and Forestry (Institute of Biology)), with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist, Teacher of Biology, in the city of Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast, Soviet Union (1973). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Hydrobiology (1992), Doctor of Biological Sciences (DSc) in Ecology (2006), Professor (2012). PhD thesis: «Fitoplankton Eniseya (Vidovoy Sostav, Struktura i Produktivnost’)» (Phytoplankton of the Yenisei: Species Composition, Structure and Productivity), Minsk, Inst. Zool. Acad. Sci.
