Chauhan Seema, born 2 February, 1970 in the city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Graduated from Agra University (at the present time – Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra), School of Life Sciences, Department of Botany, with BSc (1988), MSc (1990), PhD (1992), and DSc (2009) in Plant Reproductive Biology, in the city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Assistant Director for the Academy of Life Sciences, Scientific Secretary for the Society of Plant Reproductive Biologists. Former Lecturer (during 15 years) for the Department of Botany, School of Life Sciences, at Agra University, in the city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Member of the Indian Botanical Society, the International Society for Conservation of Natural Resources, the Society of Plant Reproductive Biologists. PI for two research projects of the Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology, the Government of India. Awarded Gold medal of the Indian Botanical Society for 10 best scientific publication. Scientific editor of three books and one authored book. Author and co-author of more than 80 scientific publications published at national and international peer-reviewed journals with impact factor.
