Chebot’ko Nadezhda Konstantinovna, born 04 April, 1960 in the city of Schuchinsk, Akmola Region, Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic (since 1991 – Republic of Kazakhstan). Graduated from the Kazakh Agricultural Institute (since 2001 – Kazakh National Agrarian University), Faculty of Forest Engineering (at the present time – Faculty of Water, Land and Forest Resources), with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Almaty, Alma-Ata region (since 1992 – Almaty Region), Republic of Kazakhstan (1987), PhD studies in Forest Crops, Breeding, and Seed Growing Graduated at the Kazakh Research Institute of Forestry and Agroforestry, in the city of Schuchinsk Akmola Region, Republic of Kazakhstan (1993-1996). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Crops, Breeding, and Seed Growing (2003). PhD thesis: «Vnutrividovaya Gibridizatsiya Sosny Obyknovennoy i Ispytanie Gibridov v Usloviyakh Severnogo Kazakhstana» (Intraspecific Hybridization of Scots Pine and Hybrid Testing in the Conditions of Northern Kazakhstan), Almaty, Kazakh Nat. Agr. Univ., 2003 (in Russian). Leading Research Scientist for the Department of Breeding and Biotechnology, A. N. Bukeykhan Kazakh Research Institute of Forestry and Agroforestry, in the city of Schuchinsk, Akmola Region, Republic of Kazakhstan (2003-present). Research interests in forest breeding, forest seed production, growing planting stock of forest species with open and closed root systems, cultivating grafted planting stock, creating PLC facilities, introducing tree and shrub species. Author and co-author of more than 90 scientific publications, 2 varieties-populations, 2 varieties-clones of Scots pine, and 1 variety-hybrid.
