Cherepanova Olga Evgen'evna, born 26 June 1985, in the city of Sverlovsk-44 (4 September 1991 the city of Sverdlovsk regained its historical name Yekaterinburg), Sverdlovsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Kurgan State University, Faculty of Natural Sciences (at the present time – Institute of Natural Sciences), Department of Biology, with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist, in the city of Kurgan, Kurgan Oblast, Russia (2007). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science, Silviculture, Forest Planning and Forest Inventory (2014). PhD thesis: «Ekologo-Geograficheskaya Differentsiatsiya Geneticheskoy i Fenotipicheskoy Struktury Sukhodol'nykh i Smeznykh Bolotnykh Populyatsiy Pinus sylvestris L. v Zapadnoy Sibiri i Srednem Zaural'e» (Ecological-Geographical Differentiation of Genetic and Phenotypic Structure of Upland and Adjacent Boggy Pinus sylvestris L. Populations in Western Siberia and Middle Trans-Urals), Yekaterinburg, Ural St. For. Engineer. Univ., 2013 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Group of Geography, Ecology and Genetics of Coniferous Plants, Laboratory of Population Biology of Woody Plants and Forest Dynamics, Botanical Garden, Russian Academy of Sciences, Ural Branch, in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia (2014-present). Research interests in intraspecific variation of woody plants, forest factorial ecology and ecological genetics. Author and co-author of more than 80 scientific publications.
