Cui Guishan, born 06 December, 1984 in the city of Yanji, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, People's Republic of China. Undegraduate studies in Geography at Yanbian University, Normal College, with BSc in Geography, in the city of Yanji, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, People's Republic of China, graduate studies in Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering at the Korea University, Graduate School of Life and Environmental Science, Department of Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering, with MSc in Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering, in the city of Seoul, Republic of Korea (2015). PhD studies in Environmental Science and Ecological Engeenering at the Department of Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering, Graduate School of Life and Environmental Science, Korea University (2014). PhD thesis: «Estimation of carbon budget change in South and North Korea by land cover change using VISIT model and land cover map», Korea Univ., Seoul, Republic of Korea, 2014 (in English). Lecturer for the Department of Geography, College of Science, Yanbian University, in the city of Yanji, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, People's Republic of China (since 2014 to present time). Research interests in remote sensing application to land cover change and ecosystem carbon budget assessment.
