Dashzeveg Ganbat

Dashzeveg Ganbat, born 6 May 1965, in the sum of Bayan-Adarga, Khentii Province, Mongolia. Graduated from the National University of Mongolia, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology (at the present time – Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences), with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist (1992), and MSc in Biology, specialization in Entomology (1999), in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. MSc thesis: «Peculiarities of Spreading and Breeding Grounds of Dendrolimus superans in Mongolia», Nat. Univ. Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, 1999 (in Mongolian). Research Scientist for the Sector of Forest Resources and Forest Protection, Institute of Geography and Geoecology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences, in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (1998-present). Research interests in forest protection, harmful insects and forest ecosystem monitoring. PI and Co-PI for a numerous national and international scientific research projects and grants for the study of forest ecosystems and monitoring. Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications.
