Deryugin Anatoliy Aleхandrovich, born 1 September 1945, in the city of Pushkino, Pushkinsky District, Moscow Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Moscow Institute of Forest Engineering (at the present time – Mytishchi Branch of Bauman Moscow State Technical University), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Faculty of Forestry, Forest Harvesting, Wood Processing Technologies and Landscape Architecture), with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Mytishchi, Mytishchinsky District, Moscow Oblast, Soviet Union (1968). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science and Silviculture; Forest Fires and Fire Fighting (1983). PhD thesis «Priruslovye lesa i ikh vliyanie na deformatsiyu beregov rek v basseyne reki Vychegdy» (River-Bed Forests and Their Impact on Deformation of River Banks in Vychegda River Basin), Mytishchi, Moscow Inst. For. Engineer., 1983 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Forestry and Biological Productivity, Inst. For. Sci., Rus. Acad. Sci., in the village of Uspenskoe, Odintsovsky District, Moscow Oblast, Russia (1992-present). Research interests in study successional processes in derived forest phytocenoses. Author and co-author of more than 80 scientific publications.
