Devi Nadezhda Mikhaylovna, born 14 July 1980, in in the city of Sverdlovsk (04 Sept., 1991 the city of Sverdlovsk renaimed to Yekaterinburg), Sverdlovsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from A. M. Gor’kiy Ural State University (USU) (12 May 2011 USU has been affiliated to Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B. N. Eltsyn), Faculty of Biology (at the present time – Department of Biology and Fundamental Medicine, Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics), with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist, Teacher of Biology and Chemistry, in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia (2002). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Ecology (2008). PhD thesis: «Morfogenez Listvennitsy Sibirskoi v Svyazi s Sovremennym Izmeneniem Klimata v Vysokogoryakh Polyarnogo Urala» (Morphogenesis of Siberian Larch in Connection with Modern Climate Change in the Highlands of the Polar Urals), Perm, Perm St. Univ., 2008 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Dendrochronology, Institute of Plant and Animal Ecology, Ural Br., Rus. Acad. Sci., in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia (2009-present). Scientific interests in study morphophysiological adaptations of plants to constantly changing environmental conditions. Author and co-author of more than 70 scientific publications.
