Graduated from Tomsk St. Univ. (at the present time – Nat. Res. Tomsk St. Univ.), Fac. Biol. Soils (at the present time – Inst. Biol., Ecol., Soil Sci., Agr. and For. (Inst. Biol.)), with a specialty in Soil Science, qualification Soil Science and Agrochemistry Specialist, in the city of Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast, Soviet Union (1969). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD, 1985) in Soil Science, Doctor of Geographical Sciences (DSc) in Physical Geography and Biogeography, Geography of Soils and Geochemistry of Landscapes (2004), Associate Professor (2005). PhD thesis: «Fizicheskie Svoystva i Osobennosti Genezisa Teksturno-Differentsirovannykh Pochv Tom’-Yayskogo Mezhdurech’ya» (Physical Properties and Features of the Genesis of Texturally Differentiated Soils of the Tom-Yaya Interfluve), Tomsk, Tomsk St. Univ., 1985 (in Russian).
