Efimov Denis Yur'evich, born 14 August, 1980 in the settlement of Ust-Maya, Ust-Maysky District, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Ust-Ilimsk Branch of Irkutsk State Pedagogical University (at the present time – Pedagogical Institute of Irkutsk State University), with a specialty in Biology & Chemistry, qualification Teacher of Biology and Chemistry, in the city of Ust-Ilimsk, Ust-Ilimsky District, Irkutsk Oblast, Russia (2002). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany (2009). PhD thesis: «Rastitelnost’ Ust-Ilimskogo Vodokhranilishcha i Ego Pribrezhnykh Territorii» (Vegetation of the Ust-Ilimsk Water Reservoir and Riparian Territory), Krasnoyarsk, V. N. Sukachev Inst. For., Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., 2009 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Systematics and Geography of Aquatic Plants, Papanin Institute for Biology of Inland Waters, Rus. Acad. Sci., in the settlement of Borok, Nekouzsky District, Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia (2020-present). Specialist in hydrobotany, ecology of water and technogenic ecosystems. Author and co-author of more than 30 scientific and educational publications, patent for an invention.
